About Daniela
Hi! I'm Daniela, and it's a pleasure to meet you. In this section I want to tell you a bit about myself.
For the last 15 years I've been fully devoted to my passion: teaching. I've taught in every kind of classroom — language and literature, Spanish for teenagers and adults, Argentines and foreigners from every corner of the world, both residents and travelers. I've worked one-on-one, with small groups, and with groups of up to 40 people. Today I pour all of that experience and love for teaching into DALE! — my own space, built for people who genuinely want to learn.
Academic background: a degree and teaching certification in Literature (Licenciada y Profesora en Letras) from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), plus a postgraduate degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second and Foreign Language, also from UBA.
I'm also deeply into culture and art in every form, so I can help you get to know the city's cultural scene inside and out — from which opera is playing at the Teatro Colón this week, to which underground bars have up-and-coming punk bands, to where to get the best choripán in town.

Did you know Spanish is the second most-studied language in the world? Because of that, there are millions of teachers out there — and with so many options, it's hard to choose the right one.
I have a strongly academic, field-specific training, and I'm convinced that's a guarantee for you. Without putting down other approaches: you don't learn a language just by chatting, and you don't learn it through heavily theoretical, grammar-only classes either — those tend to overwhelm students and push communication to the background.
My approach is communicative: you'll learn by speaking from day one. It doesn't matter if the only thing you know how to say is “Hola”. You'll practice handling real situations, with materials built around everyday life. Grammar is always there — but as a tool in service of one goal: communicating.
- I work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 9 pm — we'll find a time that works for you.
- One-to-one classes, or ready-made small groups (a couple, or up to 3 friends) at the same level.
- All levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

Frequently asked questions
What's the class format?
Classes can be in person (in Villa Crespo, Buenos Aires, five blocks from Palermo) or remote, over Google Meet.
Do you teach complete beginners?
Yes, of course — it's actually one of my favorite situations to teach.
What payment methods do you accept?
Classes can be paid in cash or by bank transfer (including Western Union, if you don't have a local card).
Class policies
Please read this before booking your classes:
Fixed days & times
You pick fixed days and times for your Spanish class. The schedule can be adjusted if needed, but it doesn't change week to week.
Payment schedule
Classes are paid between the 1st and the 10th of each month, in advance, for the number planned that month. New students get a 1-week trial before the monthly payment.
Price
The price of a class increases periodically, in line with inflation.
Payment methods
Cash, bank transfer, or Western Union. If you use Western Union, the payment must be sent as a bank transfer, not “pick up store” — and don't forget to send the receipt.
Cancellation policy
Classes must be cancelled with 24 hours' notice and can be rescheduled any time within the same month (2 per month max). With less than 24 hours' notice, the class can't be rescheduled.
